No go on the lead. I should never listen to my husband! It's HIS fault! Back to my original plans of going to the show in hopes of buying tickets from anyone who might have extras.

Hi Everyone!

I have a lead on 4 tickets which means if I get them I will have 2 available (at a slightly inflated price). Please let me know if you are interested...we can meet at the show. I will post if I secure them. I should know by the end of the day. First come, first served.

I am soooo excited for this concert! I actually didn't believe I would get tickets! But good thing my aunt knows people, because it landed us 8th row babyyyyy! WOO-HOO!!!!!!

Hey Everyone! Yes I too was bummed out that tickets sold out so fast, but absolutely thrilled for David! I think this tour will prove to him that he can sell larger venues...next tour?

I am planning to go to Portsmouth to see if I can buy tickets from anyone who has extras. I need 2 and don't care where they are. Would love to meet David again if possible.

David, I'm happy you get to fulfill your dream of doing a college tour, but I don't think you realized how quickly these venues would sell out to STUDENTS ONLY. Also, many of the tix are being sold on eBay and by scalpers at HUGE mark-ups!! Why such teeny tiny venues??? It just makes me sad.....

Oh well, I will look forward to getting to see Our Man Cook at a bigger and better venue, hopefully SOON!!!! Please!!

why dont yall try checking ebay or maybe calling the college to see if they happen to have additional tickets??

if you don't live too far, maybe you could even drive down to see if there is anything available the day of the show. ??

as bad as i wanted to go to this one, i guess i'm glad i already had plans with nickelback, since i couldn't get tix to go!

if there is any students of shawee state that would like to sell 3 tix to this show let me know how much you would charge me i am a huge fan and would really really really love to see this show i would kill for some tix im hoping the same thing doesnt happen for the west virginia show but they are doin it right by only selling the tix to the students one hr before the public peeps get a chance so hopefully i can get tix for that show at least but some kind student could really hook a david fan up

I absolutely agree with you Nicole. I was really looking forward to this since this would probably be my first and only time I would see David. If they should do student presales, it should be on the day of the sale but an hour before tickets go on sale to the public. After that it should be a 50/50 chance for students and the public. Oh well! I'll keep trying everyday. I guess I'll have to miss out or go somewhere else.

okay well how freakin fair is this s*** ?i have been waitng for this show and now the general public cant go? well thats a crock of s***!!! david if you read any of this stuff make an effort to do a show that doesnt have students getting tickets before anyone else even has a chance its not fair!! i have been a fan from the get and am totally let down by these unfair ticket sales.

every ticket was sold out in a matter of hours this morning/afternoon because of the Shawnee State Student Pre-Sale.
I'm so happy to be going, but i feel bad for the public who cannot buy tickets.
just letting you know before you get your heart set on Wednesday when they are supposed to go on sale to the public.

I'm a student at Shawnee, so I bought my tickets as soon as they went on sale this morning at 10 am. Around 3 pm I received a text message from one of my friends telling me that the box office told them that the concert had already sold out. Sorry to everyone that didn't get tickets, but I can't wait until the 27th!!!

Just to let you know, Shawnee State students get a special presale before anyone else can buy the tickets and we get them for $10 a ticket.
IF you are not a student, I would highly suggest getting tickets the day they go on sale to the public because everyone i've talked to on campus is going and if you want a chance at a good seat you'd have to buy them the first day they go on sale.

well found out from the school that they are the ones selling the tix and they go onsale feb 4th at 10am and they are 18 dollars a piece (which is awesome) so you have to call (good luck getting through) or go there and buy them i hope this doesnt bite me in my ass and i cant get through to get tix if someone on here from columbus is goin to portsmouth to get them let me know i will so put my money in so heres the info good luck ( the number to shawnee state box office is 740-351-3600)

so when u actually click on this date, it says february 27th.....but on the first EVENTS page it says february 26th. I'm confused at what date this really is! i live 30 minutes away and would LOVE to go-- but i've already planned a nickelback concert in lexington on the 27th.....so i HOPE this is really on thursday the 26th!!!!!!! guess i'll hafta call the university and check it out!!
