WAHOOOOO I am glad I called that number today and asked about the show! so now i am going... makes me verrrrry happy. I so thought you had to go to the school only to get them. So ANYONE who still wants to go to the concert, and are still wondering how to get them.. call that number that is below somewhere.. as far as I know they still have some!

OMG!!! Just got my tickets!!!
I can't believe it! I just got tickets to the show after hitting redial a million times!!! I am sooooo excited! I am now crossing my fingers that there will be a meet and greet so that we can meet DC. I have pictures that I want to get signed and a camera just itching for actual images of our favorite Word Nerd!!!

david9, from what they told me, it sounds like you have to buy them at the school. but you can try calling 540-831-5420 to get additional info. i hope this helps.

All I can find is their website for selling athletic tickets, is there a place I can go to buy these thursday?

I just spoke with the school and they still have tickets left. She said she didn't expect it to sell out to students before tix go on sale to the public on the 26th.
General Public Tickets on Sale Next Thur
I just talked to the ticket office. The general public tickets will go on sale next Thrusday 2/26/09 at 9:00 am. I hope we all have good luck and get tickets. Price is $20.

Wonder Why...
... there are no venues around NC that are not colleges. The closest thing is VA Beach, Va and while I LOVE Va Beach, it is six hours from Charlotte. I'm very, very sad.

I will just say, I will be completely devastated....I have really looked forward to this. Maybe something will change with the tickets. Keeping my fingers crossed.....

I was willing to drive the 4 hours to this show, as this is really my only option for the tour. I wrote to someone at Radford and here's what the guy had to say:
1. They can't officially confirm that their spring concert is David...but we all know it is
2. Tix will go onsale for 1 week for students and they'll be allowed to buy 1 for themselves and 1 public ticket.
3. Then if there are any tix left after that week, they'll let the public buy them....
So unless you know anyone that goes there or you live close enough to go there when tix go onsale and convince a student to buy your ticket, I seriously doubt there will be any left after a week!
