Whoo hoo!
Just so you know the Corn Palace is a big building made of corn- in South Dakota we get pretty original with our names. I got me some tickets and I am PUMPED for the concert! I'm so glad that David Cook is coming to South Dakota! I heard/read somewhere that someone in the band is from Rapid City-- is that true? Anyone know? Anyway, I saw David in concert in Kansas City for the Idol tour and I realized the Mitchell concert is the same day as the KC concert! Crazy! So, if I could continue this pattern of seeing David Cook on August 29 next year and so on, that wouldn't be too bad : )
Oh We are So Going to the "Corn Palace"?!
What the heck is a Corn Palace? Not that it matters because David and crew will be there - singing their butts off - heck - I'd go to see them in a Corn field for goodness sakes!! I am the proud owner of DC CP tickets and not ashamed of letting everyone know!! (Seriously - I know, it is kinda creepy eh - my level of excitement)?
Not to make anyone think that I am less appreciative of the Corn Palace - I live in Nebraska - we are the Corn Huskers - yea I get it. Not really sure why Midwesterners must name landmarks by their local product....hmmm.
I am just super stoked that DC and crew added SD to thier list of venues! Thanks DC for adding this venue - we really appreciate the opportunity to see you perform!!
I figure there HAS to be a bar in the Corn Palace - maybe all of us can get together for a drink! Be aware Corn Palacians - We are coming!!
