David did come out! You were in the wrong place. His bus was behind stage. There was a small group of us back there. He came out 'quietly' about an hour after the show to sign autographs (no pictures with people) and talk. Not very long though, he said his dad was there and he wanted to visit with him.
What a nice guy!! And so VERY, VERY CUTE!!!!!

so i just heard that there is a an opening act but they dont know who it is! i didnt want one, i wanted a longer set! oh well i guess as long as i get to see david!

Hello everyone, boy it has been a while since I was on here. Thanks OzisCookin, I just read your post. Things have been going well but, busy. Mom is doing great, another great check up in July and all the tests came back okay. She has been gaining a little weight, her hair is actually growing back (Dr's are amazed with that), her taste and smell has started to come back. We are getting her out of the house a little more. I am so excited for Tuesday and I know she is, bought her an AC guitar shirt for Mother's day and I am hoping like hell we can get it signed for her and frame it. The weather is supposed to be sunny and mid 70's..perfect for a great show. Our tickets are center stage and looks to be about 3rd section back. Wish we were closer but, oh well. Ready to take lots of photos and videos and I am trying to win meet and greet passes but, haven't been so lucky. If any one has at least one (for my mom) I would love to take it off your hands, not sure what the going rate would be for one but, I am sure it would be worth it (for her). Would love to meet up with some of you guys. Not sure when we will get there, if I ride with family I am guessing we will be there by 5, if we drive separate it will be earlier. Was waiting to hear if they had any thing going on before the concert....Thanks

Well, I have been anxious to find out who the opening act will be..I've been crossing my fingers for Needtobreathe or Ryan Star..however, after last night..I'm thinking no opener may be a good thing! For those of you who didn't hear, Dave said since they didn't have an opener that meant they could play a longer set! He played 16 songs I believe (didn't watch the cellcast so I'm not sure of the length, but definetly more songs than normal!) So..as long as he plays a longer set, I am definetly ok with this! But still holding out for Needtobreathe or Ryan Star..Just sayin' that neither are booked that day

and I'm so excited! I'm already starting to feel the DC jitters. Can't wait for Tuesday!!!!!!

I'm super excited for this show... I just wish we knew who the opening act is! I can't believe the show is coming up so soon and there still isn't any word yet. I would love it if it was GRO but I doubt I'll be that lucky lol.

I just called..again..about the opening act and I was told they still hadn't had it confirmed yet..so I am so anxious because I would like to know at least a couple of their songs if I can...who knows, maybe he won't have one...still pulling for Needtobreathe though!

I saw David in Iowa in July and it was awsome! It takes alot for me to say that about a concer since I am a cousin to a very famous singer. Anybody who likes any kind of pop or rock better get out to his show! He is one of the best live performers Ive ever seen!!! Keep it up David

Hi Jessica...
I just read your post... way cool. I am so touched every day by David's voice. I have listened to Permanent every day since I saw him at the AV Fair. I think because I saw his expression live, and just seeing how much his heart and soul went into the song for his brother... it just floors me... even before seeing him live.. but now it just has that much more meaning to me. As I said on another post... "A life altering experience". He leaves me no other words to describe him... and of course, Anthemic is a huge asset to his success...their success!! So, when I see these notes on these boards about how much he touches our lives... it's in his music, his personality... his heart! I'm so overposting my thoughts these days, and I'm sure it's because I'm still on Cloud 9, 10, 11... and so on... but really...... a truly honest reason why I love him in our world.

David, if you're reading this, my friend Marge lives in DE, she works with Relay for Life and I would love to get a Tshirt in both of our loved one's honor and for those who are still hoping for a cure. She just made them and I would love to do this. I donate to Idol Gives Back every year and have sponsored my friend, Michelle and my sister in law who have both battled Breast Cancer. So as you see, I'm doing all I can to help and if there is a day I can run for a cure, I'm hoping to do it right by your side. I haven't been preparing for it... but one day. That would be an incredible feat itself!! You are a strong man with the will to keep going and be even stronger for all of us and I can speak for myself to say that I love you even though we have never met and I will continue being your fan even if you're old and gray and can still sing a tune! You are blessed, and I'm SO happy to have seen you perform your song. Thank you for doing that. I don't know if you read this board... but I hope you read this and know I'm just deeply touched by your music, and it's awesome to know you stay true to yourself.... which is why I think I'm so infatuated. I know..I saw that the Crash Kings end their tour with Dave on Sept 9th and they are already booked for another gig on the 15th..so who knows..but I am glad that there will be one..it's always nice to get warmed up..and discover new music!

So, I was under the impression the GRO would be the opening act for this concert... swear I looked it up before and they had the stop listed on their site (actually the only reason I know who they are..LOL) Anyways, I read the tweet from GRO saying they only have 2 more shows left with Dave..so I looked it up again and they are not listed for any show on the 15th and so I called the venue and asked if he would have an opening act or not. She told me there would be but he hasn't confirmed who it will be yet...so I so want to know! I have to say I went to the Chesaning show a little dissappointed that Ryan wasn't the opener however...as much as I love Ryan, I REALLY loved NeedtoBreathe..so I am just wondering who it will be..I have to say that I looked it up and NeedtoBreathe doesn't have a show scheduled yet for the 15th..maybe that leaves me a little hope! LOL...I was just wondering if you ladies had heard any gossip or rumors about this?? Thanks!

I just saw that this is the first date after he has a 10 day break. If it stays that way, this'll probably be an amazing show!
