Sorry for the delay in updates. It's been difficult finding the time to get a new Vlog put together, so I thought I'd write a quick blog instead. 
We just wrapped another successful show in Pittsburgh, PA. The crowds have been great. Very responsive. VERY loud. I love it.
We're neck deep in this record. Mr. Rob Cavallo is pushing all the right buttons and turning all the right knobs to make this record great. Just as importantly, I'm proud to announce the first addition to my band, Mr. Neal Tiemann (hereafter referred to as "Doctor"). Doctor was the chief songwriter/lead guitarist in MWK, the band I played with in Tulsa. He's one of my closest friends and I am absolutely stoked to have him on board.
We're putting the finishing touches on my brand new website. It will have a very cool facebook/myspace vibe to it, where you can put together your own space and interact with other fans. I think it could be a really cool way to interact with each other.
I want to address the CDs from my old band, Axium. Quite a few fans have brought these records to the shows, looking for signatures. While I am happy to oblige and am very grateful that so many have taken an interest in something I put my heart into for the bulk of my musical life, I am sad to hear both that the pricing of these records has been set at astronomical amounts purely for the sake of taking advantage of you guys who just want the music, and that the release and sale of these records was done without the consent of the chief songwriters involved in making those records. I can assure you that I play no part in the sale or distribution of these records, and neither condone nor back the people that are. Hell, we would've given you the music but a few years ago. Funny how things and people change...
Be sure to keep an ear to the ground, as we have to singles coming out from some of our friends. Mr. David Archuleta has a single coming out soon, and Ms. Kristy Lee has one coming soon too. So be sure to check those out and support them as well as you've done for me. Let's prove to everyone else that this was and continues to be the most talented season of AI yet.

Wow David Cook, thank you. Thank you for saying that for us. It really means a lot to me as well. If I had a new record coming out, I would think about the people first and change the price of my album so everyone can be able to buy my album. Thanks again for encouraging me to think and later, do so as well.

Usually I hadn't been a fan of any singers, til the day I turned on the TV and saw you sang Always be my baby. You got me chilled, you know. And I knew from that moment I'm totally in love with you. I started to download everything about you on YouTube, all the songs you'd performed in AI, all the interviews, all the clips about you, your jokes, your cuteness, everything! You are ever so humble and kind, outgoing and you have such a great sense of humor, of course, not to say about your warm wonderful voice and your heavenly gift for music. The day my friend who was studying in Singapore came back and handed my your album, I felt like dreaming. I got your CD! Gosh, I'm just one fan of you in Vietnam in this entire world and I know it's hard even to dream that you would come here, to Vietnam, for a concert. You once said in an interview that you would come to anywhere we booked you. So I just hope, you know, "wish upon a star" I would meet you face to face someday, watching you rock on on stage in front of me and other millions of fans. Yeah, it must be one - in -a -million night...
And this is one thing that you may find interesting, I dreamt of you one night and we hugged. I had no idea what the situation was, but you opened your arms wide, smiling at me (Yeah fans, be jealous!). I felt so warm and tight . Wonder you had the same dream on that night too?

first off let me say this-I LOVE YOU !! i think you have an amazing voice and you completely deserved to win American idol. in the begging of idol(your audition) i thought you where creepy, strange looking, and a good singer. ha. i started to like you when you made it into the top 24. then every week i liked you more and more and more and i wanted you to win-hands down =]
when you won i was screaming like crazy. i was so happy for you and i couldn't believe it.! i started listing to your pre-idol music from analog heart & axium. they were really good. then when your album came out i downloaded it right away. i loved it. i started liking you so much more. and i started telling people. well...ill tell you where that got me....

I couldn't wait until Tueday when your CD was released and I was bitting at the bit until someone got here to take me...just had major back surgery a couple of weeks ago so doctor won't let me loose on my own yet but I GOT IT! It is absolutely incredible and was worth the wait! Thank you so much for bringing us such great music. I love it!
I along with i'm sure many can't wait until Thanksgiving night when you flip the switch and turn on the Plaza lights, I will be there cheering you on, unfortunately still in a back brace but standing proud you are a from Kansas City and still sharing the excitement of the Kansas City tradition!

Those were very cool comments about your older albums. Since you would have given them for free I hope you don't mind that I downloaded the Axium music for free from 'David-Cook.org'. Someone was nice enough to make it available to all. I'd love to have the actual CD's but at least I get to hear them. You really showed your talent at a young age. I listen to you most every day.
