I cannot go a single day without listening to this song!!!! David is my favorite artist in the whole world, and this is my favorite song! The lyrics move my soul in an amazing way. When I listen to this song, I forget about everything else going on and I just get swept away in the avalanche of emotion. I feel like some of these verses were written about my life. This song can definitely relate to everyone. The beautiful lyrics mixed with David's sweet, sensual tone create the most perfect song. It makes me melt!

NEEDS TO BE A SINGLE!!! This song definately makes me ache. Dave is so good at making us connect with the emotions of his songs. Such a gift to beable to know the most effective way to convey what is written in words and bars on a page. Wouldn't be as good if we couldnt feel his emotional connection to each one of them. He has done that so soulfully. No one has ever touched my heart through music as Dave has with these songs (except for God Himself)

Most certainly David's best vocals on the album, showcasing his range and versatility. The lyrics are wonderful and the melody is haunting. With "I Did it For You," one of my faves on the album! And I love the way David says "avalanche."

I absolutely love this song, and it should have been the first single. Hopefully it will be his next single. I love this whole cd. His cd reminds me a lot of Chris Daughtry's cd, not in material but in the way the cd's grow on you when you listen to them over and over again. After I listened to it once all the way through there were a few songs I Iiked, but not all. I have listened to the cd nonstop in my car since I bought it and I can tell you there is not a song I don't love. Songs that I didn't care for the first time through now blow me away. David is an amazing performer and I wish he would hurry and start touring because i'm getting ansy for some DAVID COOK LIVE!!!!

My all time favorite song. If I would get married again tomorrow to my wonderful husband of 22 years, I would choose this song. It is timeless, sensual, romantic, memorizing and melodic. The imagery of an avalanche gives the impression of being snowed in and not wanting to dig out any time soon. Love it.

When i first heard it, i was so amazed, I felt tingling sensation and goosebumps all over my body and my eyes were so teary. I was about to cry, but suddenly my mom get my attention to lower down the volume of my component, because I kept listening to this song the whole day and its like I want to be with David, to hug him and say thank you for sharing his talents. Avalanche is my Favorite, Hands Down
I love several of the songs but Avalance is by far my favorite. I agree that it's got all the elements to be a longstanding classic hit. Who could not be drawn into the romance and intensity of this song? Just wait till the public starts hearing it on the radio. It will skyrocket. You've done it again, Daivd.
