Oh my goodness....i am in love with this song!! Everytime I listen to i am reminded of twilight.♥ (partially because i saw this vid on utube with this song to twilight clips).lol. This song can be taken so many ways. alot of people think about this song as acuall heroes like fireman and soldiers and such but i interpret it as a friend or a guy thats alwasy there for you and he's you hero...thats my thots. but it is such a great song! .♥♥♥

This song is rally dedicated to all of our heroes. Like policeofficers, fireofficers, homland security, doctors, funders, army, air force, navy, marine, and etc. I can also relate to this song because my day was in the army and in war (Desert Storm) and he also works for the government (homeland security). I'm glad we have heroes in our lives. Not super heroes, but heroes, that's all we need.

The whole CD is great. When I was listening (for the 20th time), "Heroes" made me think of my son who died 3 years ago. He taught his Mom to not be afraid and if you believe in a good cause, don't let anything stop you..........so I will borrow this song for my son....and when I am afraid......or sad......I will turn the music on........Thank you David for giving us such beautiful music. Thanks a lot to DAVID COOK! The "Time of my Life" and "Dream Big" lyrics really helped me to achieve the silver in our school's Extemporaneous Speech competition. I used some of his lyrics to give some spices and inspirational words to my audience. The exact words that I used was: "Dream big and turn your dreams into something". David, you and your songs really give an inspiration not only to me but also to those people who really wanted to achieve their dreams in life.

Another awesome song from David, to the extent that I can view it as yet another nominated song for his follow-up single. On top of that, there's this one fanvid that I can't get out of my head, without linking the song and the hit series Heroes together.

Yet on the other hand, it celebrates the people who helped shaped David's life as a person, hence they are his heroes. A much heart-felt song, may I point out.

This is a fantastic tribute song to your family! When I listen to this song, I picture your Mother standing in the audience every week showing the world her love, support and pride for you. I heard a few different interviews where you "told the world" how much it meant to you to have her there every week. This is another great song on your really great album!!

Heroes is a really great song.

This is one of my favorites on the album.
I love the way the music builds and then lets go. A soaring off of a hilltop kind of feel, like Searchlights.
