Would you purchase the hard cover issue of Broken Records Mag at $12 or a bit more? Scot owner of BRM has asked/or she has offered @longlensgypsy to take a toll of how many issues he would need to print! So if you want to be included GO to Cindy's Twitter page @LongLensgypsy and just say "YES"!! As FATE would have it .. this issue being 2 months late is ... great promo for David's NEW LML Tour!! Scott doesn't think DC fans would pay up to $15 to own this issue LOL LOL... I told him "Please don't under-estimate THE LOVE & LOYALTY of David Cook Fans!" Let's show him!! ~ Thanks Carole <3

Incredible interview u always seem to amaze me everytime thank u for making me smile everytime I'm on here

Agree w/1step in that there was less new stuff here than I'd have liked, but the sidebar with the composition info re LML was interesting.

D's apology re the nature of the tat just made me smile; he didn't have to say anything about it in the first place, other than "it's private," kwim? But he made up a story in the moment, and I guess after all this time it bugged him, so here was not just the real info but also an apology for the little (and imo justifiable) prevarication. That's classic Dave, somehow -- someone who wants to do the right thing.

And because he typically does not lie ... though he also doesn't tell all he knows? I have to keep believing that what he keeps saying is true, despite the nebulous timeline and all the unknowns. I have to keep believing that eventually he's going to get new music out and do shows. Whenever it happens, whatever the mechanism, whatever the style, whatever the scope.

If I can be pure enough, if I can be selfless enough, and if I can be generous and loving and caring enough to abandon what I have and my own preconceived, silly notions of what I think I am ... then the music can really use me. -- John McLaughlin

INteresting that I found out a lot about David in the article but then I know that I am not reading David's Biography. It did slip out at the R4H luncheon about the tattoos and I thought that was so like David. I can wait patiently for David to finish his album. I like that he is taking his time and has artistic freedom.

Excellent article. Always love updates from David! Great tattoo story! So clever to do that. I know his new album is going to be spectacular!

Thanks for the article. Any new tidbits are welcomed. Still chomping at the bit for that album, so still hearing only 6 or 7 songs ready for it (out of 12 he wants) is making it hard to be patient. Very exciting to hear about a possible club tour though. I'm another one who would love to see Boston (or better yet Maine!) be part of it. But if he just does a rock tour anywhere I'll be thrilled! It's a relief to hear David still considers himself a "rock guy", as I'm not into country or even too much acoustic, and I personally think he loves that the most from what I've seen live and in videos. I love Laying Me Low and I'm glad it ended up being a sort of pop/rock/bluesy song!

Hmmm. Well other than the interesting tidbits on the making of LML, I didn't get anything out of this article sorry. *Shrugs.* Could have written it myself, I think....Let's recap....David moves to Nashville - check...David doesn't plan to go country but may/may not be writing for country artists - check --- David is plat selling artist - check...Fans like to buy his merchandise...check...David returns to Idol to perform LML - but hey it's great - no pressure as contestant - check - David is part (yes ok, make that a BIG part) of RFH in Washington for 5th year in a row - raises ton of money - check. David has yet another new tattoo that is not exactly what it appears to be on first look - check. Oh and the best part - David planning maybe, hoping maybe, could be coming soon,(crosses fingers toes etc) for club tour to promote LML - check. Uhhh I won't hold my breath on that one. Check and mate.

Seems to me this article was meant just to throw softballs,,,umm I think nerf balls are more apt...maybe even dust balls. Dunno. Want more deets of what's ahead. Is that too much to askt? Maybe so! Shame on me! Bad fan. Ack - no answers here. Perhaps I missing part of the article the rest of fandom saw? Please feel free to educate Ms. Ignoramus here.

PS: Oh and for the record? Hold yr tomatoes pls - big fan of David here (nothing will ever change that) , but why do I have this feeling I just got 'punked" ? Sure, I know I'm in minority, but I just don't want to play 'anyway.' YMMV JMO and usual disclaimers apply.

ETA: I just hope we get some "real" news sooooooooon. Cuz this article was NOT news.

Well worth waiting for! David knows who he is and what he wants... Go get it babee!!
