Concert Report: David Cook Conquers The Philippines
David Cook recently visited the Philippines with his fellow American Idol, David Archuleta, and both performed for over 50,000 fans who turned up at Manila's SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds. Archuleta took the stage first and sent girls into a screaming frenzy with his wholesome smile and crystal clear vocals, delivering an energetic set. Then David Cook and his band stormed on stage with their undeniable rock show, and David brought fans to delirium when he climbed down from the stage to sing amongst his fans - his smiling face surrounded by a gaggle of digicam-wielding hands. The show ended with Cook calling his pal Archie back on stage for a final song, the pair leaving indelible memories that Manila's music fans won't soon forget.

David, now that you've been to the phillipines, when are you coming to malaysia? There are just as much fans here. You must come here someday. It would be so cool to have you here and I would definitely go see you rock Malaysia's socks off.
I've never got so fanatic over a singer because I always ended up getting bored of them in like less than a month or so. But you got me going since I saw you in Idol. I just love everything about you (or whatever the media shows about you)!

Great, great show in Manila! We had a good time with EEB, taking pictures with them. Unfortunately, we don't have one with you because of your tight security! But needless to say, we had a great time coz you literally brought the house down! What an amazing show!

Wanna let you know how happy I am that I was able to watch you when you had your concert at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds here in Manila! Can't imagine myself not being part of it. It has been almost a month now and still, I have hang-ups! haha! Just a bit sad that I wasn't able to see you up-close, I really wanted to ask for a pic with you. Nevertheless, it was such an unforgettable experience for me and the concert was really great! It had me screaming along with thousands of your fans! Thanks a lot for coming here! Hope you'll have a concert again in Manila!=)
