What a show! It was awesome. One of the best concerts I have seen in a long time. The venue is small so David Cook was close to the audience. He looks like he really enjoys performing, and the performance was packed with enegry. Many of my friends couldn't make the show because it sold out so quickly.

On a side note, reading some of the comments makes me laugh.... I saw someone mention no show in Charlotte NC? I am in Utah and my sister lives in Charlotte, NC. I rarely travel, but DID make the trip from Utah to Charlotte at the end of May.... my sister and I made the 2 1/2 hour drive to Carborro, so I could see David at the Cat's Cradle concert... AMMMMMMMAAAAAAAZING!!! Wishing I could go back again to make the South Carolina Fair concert (apparently that location is even closer to Charlotte). My point? Well, I know everyone is in a different situation, but there are some states that have had no concerts at all... and none scheduled (*cough* Utah!), and some states have had various concerts throughout.... just a suggestion, maybe take advantage of a concert *near* you if you are able. The 2 1/2 hour drive from Charlotte to Carborro was nothing compared to traveling across the country....LOL I would go NUTS if David would come anywhere CLOSE to where I live!!

Could not figure out where to post this after the show but was just BURSTING With Energy and had to post.

A million times THANK YOU!!! You ended with "Daily Anthem"!!! I was so ecstatic!!! Wasn't it powerful?? Wondering what it felt like to you and to see all the arms waving back and forth from your view & than the fireworks. WOW! WHAT A FINALE!!

You were so in your element last night. I have to admit I missed being up close and personal like at Ameristar but really enjoyed the box seats surrounded by the night sky.

Enjoyed all the other surprises you had for us that night...so enjoyed your well planned set & I didn't feel like you left us wanting more too much although, I could have stayed and listened to you play All Night Long.

PS. Thanks for sharing the news with us that you've decided to keep this your home. We would love to see the picture you took of us to hang in your new home.
We are thrilled eventhough with your schedule I don't see you being home much!

I am so thrilled about the new dates in the NY area and I've already secured tix!!! DC is way too good to us, because the schedule for the rest of the year looks GRUELING. Hope someone is scheduling nap time for DC and the boys! Take care of you, and you'll take care of us!

i was really excited when i logged on and saw that you were adding dates to your already jam packed list of places... however i was let down a couple minutes later when i discovered that you weren't coming to Utah... oh well..... hopefully you will think about adding even more dates further down the line and will decide to include Utah if you could that would be AWESOME!

..Nice.. okay well, I hope November and December, while you are working on your next cd enjoy the holidays with your family, if that is, time is generous to you. If not, make it so, because family is important.
