David Cook Joins Carrie Underwood Tonight To Celebrate The Holidays

Tune in tonight to see David Cook ring in the holiday season on the Carrie Underwood: All Star Holiday Special. The special airs at 8pm on Fox so be sure to catch it!
Is that national? I think it is. I will rush home again to see David's breathtaking performance, even though I recorded it...lol.
*For the record -I miss the "eye contact" too, so adds to the heart melting effect!
I loved David's voice in his performance on Carrie's show and am a real fan. What I missed in his performance, though, is his eye contact with me. When David "looks me in the eye" during his performance, I get such a thrill. I hope David brings back the eye contact he had during his best American Idol performances.
If it weren't for David being on this show, I probably wouldn't have watched it. However, he WAS on the show, and I watched every minute of the entire show. I have so much to thank David for. In this case, he really re-introduced me to Carrie Underwood, the incredible artist and performer. I have always liked Carrie, but never really found her to be "something special" in the music business. Her Holiday special show completely changed my mind. I don't own any of her albums, but now I'd really like to own her new one. And don't even get me started on David & TA's performance...... wow. I am so proud of him!!
i have lost count how many times i have played it back since it aired!
i have loved everything i have heard from you and can't wait to hear & see more of you. would have loved to hear you & Carrie again (maybe on your special). Love her but you were the reason i tuned in!

You were the highlight of the show!! I felt like I missed something though. Did you sing a song that didn't get aired? Was there a duet? If so I hate that they didn't air it. You were amazing as always David!! I hope in the mix of all the touring and craziness of being famous that you can enjoy the holidays and spend time with the ones you love! I watched the special last night to see David and my mother watched to see Dolly.Both of which were amazing.David did my absolute favorite song off the album "Lie" it was such a beautiful performance and I loved the way he reworked the song.The song should be released as a single.I love when David performs on TV and have loved every performance I've ever seen from Idol on.Hope to see more performances again soon. ashleycrawford33

I actually saw you the beginning of November at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee and I got chills when you sang it away from the microphone. Incredible David, incredible!

Your performance of Lie on the Carrie Underwook special took my breath away. It was so beautiful and hearfelt. No wonder the audience was on its feet in appreciation. Lie is one of my favorite songs from the album and I love this version with the stunning vocal and quiet instrumentation. I so wish RCA would release this as a single. But atleast lots of people got to hear the song for the first time and I'm sure there are many new David Cook fans this morning. Now I'm off to watch the video again.

Lie was absolutely fantastic on TV last night. David I am amazed at how you continue to grow into your music and make it more powerful. This song is something special and needs to be shared. I need to make a comment about this website since you are inviting people to come here. DCO really needs to be fixed. I am embarrassed when I invite people to join and then they come back and tell me how badly the site functions. RCA -- you're leaving $$ on the table by not releasing "Lie" as a single to both HAC and Country. When you look at the bounce generated last night in downloads by even such a brief appearance as D's, I think it ought to give you pause, make you consider devoting some promotional effort to this song. I know everyone's looking forward to the next album but.... really think you're missing a bet by not doing this....

David your performance was AMAZING!!!! Lie is my favorite song off the record and when I saw you in Niagara Falls, NY you didn't play it, so this was a real treat! Hands down, BEST performance of the night!
I was so excited to see DC was the first performer Carrie introduced on the special, and his performance was hands down, the best part of the entire show! "Lie" was perfection.
