From all the greastest things that happen in 2008, David Cook gets to be on a very popular book that everyone looks in and he is one of the special ones that gets to be on a book cover with the Barack Obama and John McCain. That is great! I love how they see the world beyond just politics. Pop culture is so important and David was a big part of that by winning American Idol. He has defined a generation. Congrats David!!! You deserve it.

Putting David on the cover was a good choice, because, though I may have bought it anyway because of the whole historical presidential race, I will DEFINITELY buy one now JUST because it has David on it!!!! I wonder how much they cost...? I will check...oh wow, it's only like, ten bucks on Amazon! TOTALLY buying it now!!!! Ha, last year I probably wouldn't have glanced at The World Almanac, but this past year...with David winning...and his album coming out...and Obama winning....but mostly just David winning and his album coming out! LOL! ^_^

Pretty smart cookies, those almanac folks. Alan Joyce is a winner in my book, and I know my winners. David, of course is the ultimate winner. What a year! It just gets better and better.
