David Cook To Perform Tonight At MLB All-Star Game!

David Cook will be performing two songs with his band tonight, July 13th, prior to the start of the State Farm Home Run Derby at Busch Stadium. A great way to kick-off the 2009 All-Star Week, The State Farm Home Run Derby will be televised live on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET so be sure to check out David's performance!

Great performance!
Declaration was stellar! I walked in from outside & my hubby yelled 'hurry up it's David Cook"... got him trained very well;-) Since David is such a big baseball fan, I'm sure he was thrilled just to be there to watch & hang out, yeah, it would be cool if he was playing, too.

Missed it dammit!
This was unclear, due to input from my sister the baseball fan, and I missed them on TV! Was it the All-Star GAME? Was it on the MLB channel, like my sister told me before 8PM E time? Was any of their performance actually shown on ESPN on the Home Run Derby show, which is NOT the All-Star Game, dear sister? I DO get ESPN. I do NOT get the MLB channel. Dang it. So I wasted time right before 8PM E trying to find it cause I didn't read HERE in time. Wah. THEN my sister told me it was NOT shown on ESPN at 8PM E because her TV automatically flipped from the MLB channel at 7:59PM AFTER they showed all of one song and part of another, so it was not shown on ESPN. Guess I'll look for video...rats.

I am so excited for him.I know how much he loves baseball.I can't even imagine what that would feel like playing on the field in St.Louis(he hates them btw) in front of all your favorite players.I know I would too excited for words & scared to death at the same time.

Wow, the only thing that could have possibly made the All-Star Break better happened! I'm so delighted to see that David will be performing tonight, and it's very fitting since he himself played baseball as a pitcher in High School. He grew up in Missouri too! Awesome! Even more excited than before!
