David Cook Performing on GMA this Friday!

David Cook will be performing this Friday, August 7th on Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series. This concert is open to the public, so come out and support David!
Good Morning America airs live from 7 to 9 a.m., with concert performances usually starting around 8:30 a.m. If you're going to attend the concert check out the details below!!
Good Morning America Concert Series:
The "Good Morning America" 2009 Summer Concert Series has moved to Central Park! The live concerts will take place in Rumsey Playfield in New York City's Central Park. Central Park opens to the public at 6 a.m. and audience members will be permitted to enter the park starting then. Concerts are free and open to the public. Entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive at 6 a.m. The best and closest way to enter the park is at Fifth Avenue and E. 69th St., where you can follow a short path to the playfield. The closest subway is the N or R train.

It's a very considerate performer, and his organization, that puts such a detailed, useful description on his fan page for people to know exactly how and when to get to a free concert.
It's another example of how you guys, including the Web Nerds, take care of the fans.
It's much appreciated, even by those of us who could not make it.

Okay, DC fans -- go watch Little Lies (all 3 guys) on the GMA website and be sure to click on CBTM also -- want them to have HUGE numbers for views on these vids, because you know the Adam and Kris fans haven't had so much great stuff to watch as we have lately and they will be clicking. THEN, of course, go Vote for CBTM on VH1 Top 20 -- very important to keep it there 5 more weeks!!!!
Little Lies -- okay, definitely the best performance of the morning, but of course didn't make air time. So much fun to watch David -- as in the ol' AI days -- take complete but generous command of a show that's not his, but was left in his care. STELLAR performance!!!
Remember folks, watch this on GMA site, not YouTube for at least a few days.

While I wasn't all excited about getting up at 7 am...then waiting two hours for you to come on...It was amazing! So I got to see David twice this morning...now I have to go get an MRI for my knee...lovely

Yeah! Hey Dave! It's the girl who asked u for a JOB when I met u @ JCP in Manhattan, yes, there is a first time for everything. Truth is, I am trying to avoid Grad school next year. lol lol I figured if I got a really great job or hit mega million, I could avoid school. Mega-million hasn't kicked in yet, u were my last hope! lol Anyway,I did not make it to Central Park on Fri, as I told u, too many people. I watched u on T.V. U were great as always!
On a serious note, I really just wanted to wish u and your family peace and happiness when I met u, but they rushed me out and I didn't get a chance. So I am sending my wishes to you and your family now. Stay well!

Go earlier than 6 am
The gate opens at 6 am, for the 7-9 am show. If you get there AT 6, you may not get in. This will be a mob scene with Adam & Kris' rabid fans there. I hope David Cook fans make a good showing and make him proud of us.
I went to the GMA Summer Concert a few years ago, but had a special pass so got to stand up front. Good luck to everyone who is going!

Hopeful Wishing
When I saw the announcement on GMA I started to think how I could get to NYC for the concert, but being that I'm in Iowa with 2 little boys and husband out-of-town I knew it wasn't going to work. Hence the beginning of my "hopeful wishing". Glad I got to see you @ The Jones County Fair and know that I will probably have a better view from my home than if I were there!
