David Cook Scores 3rd Top 10 Single At Adult Radio

As reported in Billboard.com, David Cook just completed a feat previously achieved by only two other male solo artists at the Adult Top 40 format: collecting his third top 10, as "Come Back to Me" moves from #11 to #10 this week.
David's introductory single, "Time of My Life," last year's "American Idol" victory song, reached No. 7, and its follow-up, "Light On," peaked at No. 4. All three songs appear on David's self-titled debut album, which bowed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in December and has sold 1,174,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Only two other male soloists have notched at least three top 10s from one album in the Adult Top 40 chart's 13-year history, and the previous two also did so from debut releases: John Mayer (three top 10s from 'Room for Squares,' 2002-03) and Rob Thomas (four top 10s from '...Something to Be,' 2005-07).

This is so deserved! Saw you guys Friday night in Thackerville, OK and all I can say is what an awesome show it was!!! Ryan was great too and is such a nice guy... I can see why you get along so well. We didn't want the show to end and could have partied to your music all night long! There aren't too many people I can say sound every bit as good live as they do recorded but you do. I hope to catch you again after the next album is released. Thanks for a fantastic rockin' evening!

My daughters first crush
My daughter Skylar will be 13 next month, and David is her first boy crush, in which upset me just a little because she has never really talked about boys then she explained it to me and I was okay. This is what she said, David is a safe crush, because in 5 years when I turn 18 he will be married and have five kids, so therefore, he wouldn't be able to take away from my studies in college. So, I guess the crush is okay she still has her 4.0 average head still on her sholders. The problem I am having is she is wanting to go to one of his concerts. Every time we are some where close to where he is like when we are on vaction, his tickets sell out so fast that I can't get one. Skylar said mom I don't think you are trying very hard. We are from West Monroe, LA., so he doesn't get very close to where we are, He is in Baton Rouge July4, which is only 4 hrs from us no tickets available. Do you guys think I could get him to send her a autograghed picture saying thanks for being a fand or something, Just so she knows I've been trying. She has bought 4 of his CD's with the money she gets for her grades.

Bigger Than The Beatles???
David, I believe I was the first person to say that one day you would be bigger than the Beatles. Then you proved you were next in line by your 11 hits in the Top 100 Billboard Charts and 14 hits in the Top 200 Billboard Charts, coming closer to the Beatles' record than ANYONE ELSE! Now, you have accomplished a lot, and I hope to see more of your songs on your new CD become single releases and surpass everyone. David, your strong suit is ballads. As long as you perform them with all of your heart and energy, you can accomplish anything you want. Your ballads are where you are the strongest, where your uniqueness shines and no one can compare to you. Your voice is unbelievable, and I love your heart when you sing. You can make me cry at the drop of a dime. Just a friendly reminder to keep your ego in check (it would be easy to get a super ego when you have people telling you that you are the best), and make sure you get input from people other than the close friends around you. You want to make sure you're always on top and stay there. I wish you were a little older because I would grab you up in a red hot second (I can't help it)!
