David Cook on SNL - Encore Performance!

If you didn't catch David the first time, NBC's Saturday Night Live will be re-airing their show with David Cook this Saturday, August 29th, at 11:30pm EST. David's performance was originally aired back in November 2008, so if you missed it then be sure to tune in this weekend!

I actually feel sorry for people who aren't in the know about how AWESOME you guys are...Kyle on drums makes you wanna bang your head along with him....Neal bringing it just leaves you in awe....Andy rockin it out w/ his amazing voice and talent

yes, I watched again and it felt sooo good just to remember that first time. Boy, you and your band looked so good back then. I think I watched with my younger daughter and we were in complete awe back in Nov/08.
Now, more than ever, I will 4ever be a David Cook and The Anthemic fan!!
p.s. to tell you the truth, I used to hate reruns until YOU came along, LOL

Glad to hear you will be performing at the Salem State Fair! Hopefully, you will get a chance to visit my hometown Portland, OR. You could catch a Beavers baseball game, take a jet boat ride along the Williamette River or ride the Arial tram?

I remember how much I liked Declaration...and was thinking...
Barbasol was made to be played on the SNL stage, with CBTM or LIE or any of the other song. Too many favorites-All+the others that didn't make the album. He's so good and so are the Anthemics. I think they've evolved and just keep getting better if that's even possible. Ofcourse, these guys and David "LIVE" blow their own album away, LOL!!

I just realized watching this over again just how perfect that "Light On" performance was. It sounded exactly like the CD version and his voice was just absolutely amazing as usual
Is it worth it?
I'd forgotten this painful Target sketch w/ Ben Affleck and his creepy lisp.
But I will sit through it, to relive the memory of the wonderful feeling of relief hearing Declaration for the first time and knowing that I was going to love the album.
SWEET...
if only they put you in a skit...you could easily keep up with the rest of the cast!

I'll Watch it Again
Well, I watched it on November, then at the beginning of the year I watched it in Mexico too and I will watch it tonight. It's never too much when we are talking about David and the Anthemic, right?

That's so awesome! This time I'll be sure to record it, to add to the other great TV appearances by David. I also said this before, and I'll say it again: Dave should host SNL, as well as be the musical guest. He is the total package!! Forget about JT...it's DC time!!!

I'll never forget the first time I watched this! It was the First Time to hear Declaration and David Cook and the Anthemic did such a fantastic job! I think they (SNL) need to have David on as a host and also let David Cook and the Anthemic play again as well! I would even want to be in that audience!!
