There have been several sneak peek links posted on this site for the video, streaming music, etc. I just want to point out that the majority of it is being blocked to everyone outside the USA (specifically Canada). i understand there are probably legal issues behind it all, but why are the international fans always getting screwed? Can a better effort be made to post links that are available for ALL of David Cook's fans?
Preordered 2 copies myself so far (Walmart & Newbury) & might do a third in next 24 hours... never know. lol I could sit here & say this one going to be a hit, that one.. but there's just too much potential for the whole album because of it's diversity, so I'll just say there's at least one I feel for sure is going to hit (Lie) & leave the rest to the world to speculate on because IMO, they're all hits in their own right. "Here are my terms, have some faith in me, & I'll let you be what you need to be" .... just one small example of excellent song writing on this album.. Incredible first album, even more than expected in 3 months time while touring & keeping up a hectic schedule.. you still managed to stay true to your fans & keep them on their toes while putting a huge smile on their face and keeping them yearning for more. As always, stunned & amazed w/your totally refreshing & never-ending talent. Looking forward to Good Morning America in the morning, Regis & Kelly, AMA Red Carpet LIVE Show, & Ellen... & that's just this month!!! LOL Looks like you're well on your way to being a star!! Get ready, because from the Web-wide responses I've seen (and in my modestly insightful opinion) that fabulous song looks to be your next BIG HIT from this album. I was singing along and rocking to that thing before it finished playing for the first time. Loving it all. Two album copies ordered plus a trip to Walmart planned.

I have listened to the album several times now and every time I love it a little more. David's music is so comforting, so healing. I am not really sure how someone that is only 25 can write and perform as deeply as he does. Every song means something, every lyric means something. He doesn't write just to write and this album already means so much to so many people including myself. Also would like to metion how incredible David and the band looked on Leno last night. They did an awesome job with LO and we even saw that patented "melt you to the core" David smile a couple of times. Can't wait to see you on tour guys. Keep having fun in that amazing way you do.

I've been waiting to hear to vibe of the whole record, not just a single because anyone can make one good song, but to actually make a good record it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of talent and let me tell you, David delivered big time!!! I love the whole record, I love that it's very personal to who he is right now as an artist and as a human being. The whole vibe of the album is absolutely amazing.
I loved Analog Heart and was anxious about the " David Cook sound" after American Idol but the record exceeded my expectations and I'm actually looking forward for the next DC thing... tour maybe?

I am finally getting a minute to sit down and comment on the album, though I listened to it the minute it began streaming. I have pretty much been streaming it non-stop since then. It has been a few days now, but my jaw is still dropped in awe. The album is absolutely amazing and I couldn't ask for more. Every single song is great and a album such as this, is hard to come by. I would have commented on this spectacular debut CD sooner but I've been too busy listening and then there are all the videos from "Do the Wright Thing" at the Hard Rock. OMG!!!!! I don't get to bed before 4am anymore. You looked very at ease and having funI Just Love the whole thing CD!!!! Every time I try to pick my favorite-I can't, I think of another that I love. I had to look up "Fuge" how appropriate.
I sent my (20 year old) son the link to check out the songs since he liked the songs from "Analog Heart" and I started to say listen to at least the first .....but I had to say first 11 (he's heard TOML) . Since I already pre-ordered 2 -1 from Amazon and 1 from itunes and then Walmart has the extra song, I may need another. I guess I'll give one up to him.

He has a lot of different styles of music in this cd and he does well in all they are all great songs. Your debut album is INCREDIBLE!! I love the entire album, but my personal favorites are "Declaration", "Heroes", "Bar-ba-sol", "Avalanche", and "Permanent."
"Permanent" is a beautiful song. When I first listened to "Permanent", I thought of my best friend's sister that had cervical cancer. I have known my best friend and her family since I was 3 years old (I am 30 now). They are like my second family and when her sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer it truly was unbielavable. She was 26 years old, young and full of life and here is this devastating diagnosis. We all held her hand. We all wanted the pain to end. It finally did two years later. "Permanent" expresses how all of us felt during that emotional battle. I can only hope and pray that your brother continues to heal and prevail against his fight against cancer. I wish you all the succsess with your debut album. The entire album is grammy worthy and all of us fans are so incredibly proud of you!
Hope you guys got to see DC on Leno a few minutes ago. He flashed the most beautiful smile I've ever seen near the end of the song when all the girls in the audience were screaming. Since all his pics are now so serious (and sensuous), the boyish ear to ear grin was a rare treat. Thanks David, for once again, making my night. Hey David, I was just on your myspace leaving you some love and figured I would come here and talk to you for a bit while waiting for you to come on Leno. Your album is truly incredible but why wouldn't an incredible person make an incredible album. I love the songs even though some make me cry but thats ok, everyone needs a good cry every now and then. Well I can't wait to get the actual CD in my hands and listen to it on my ipod. Well I'm sure your not looking at your computer right now because your probably having a few drinks and watching Leno with your friends and maybe your family, well whoever your with I hope your enjoying your friday night. I've waited until I could even remotely express the words that come to mind as I listen to your "truth" come through on your new album--at least a dozen times now. You have a way of expressing your emotions and thoughts that is rare for an artist these days. Raw emotion comes to mind and I think all of your fans feel it as we listen to your songs, your truth.
As a thirty-something, I ask myself....how can a 25 year old man already experience life enough to express it in such a way that has such brilliance and emotions like pain, loving, suffering, and selflessness that your lyrics declare? Truly amazing.
We are lucky, as fans, to have discovered you early on in your career. I can only tout your AI auditions as the beginning for me, but others have been luckier for a longer time.
I hope that in the coming years, you are blessed with an astonishingly successful career, void of drug and alcohol which historically have destroyed so many great artists and bands (also, as a health care provider, I must include this!), and with fans that will faithfully follow you until the end of time. I will be sure to be among those lucky people, and will continue to spread the David Cook word!
