Everyone found me weird when I cried during the Season 8 finale...not because I was disappointed with the result but because at that point you were no longer the reigning Idol. But after I read this- that you were actually happy to not be the newbie anymore, I was relieved. I know you will be here for the long haul! And we will be here to support you! No other Idol can replace you! Your performances during your season will forever be remembered! Long live DC!!! Woohoo!!!

I know this sounds kind of weird but since you won idol, i cant bare to watch it knowing that your not going to be on there...............wow that does sound creepy. Oh, and dont worry, no matter how long this lasts i will always love you and will always be your biggest fan!

Always enjoy hearing how you're doing and how you're handling this amazing, yet smetimes crazy, new lifestyle! Can't wait to see you on July 5th! Enjoy your time off and give Dublin a hug from me!

I agree with an earleir post - this is the only album I have ever enjoyed all the way through, and that includes all Beatle albums.

Where has the time gone? You will always be the number one Idol. Kris is good but you always will be great.
I will be at the Mystic Lake concert in Prior Lake,Mn. It is a neat venue. Hope you enjoy yourself here in Minneapolis.

Watching that brings back memories of that ever oh so great Season 7 Finale. It will always be EPIC. and so will the name DAVID COOK .

It is just scary how good David is at EVERYTHING! When I saw the cover art for the Permanent Charity Single, I thought, wow, someone did a great job with that! I liked it more than his album cover. I had NO idea he designed it.

What an amazing guy - I can't wait to see him live again on Sunday at the Cat's Cradle in North Carolina! I know the show will be special - they all are! I have to say, I've never been this much of a fan of anyone or anything.

David, You all were awesome, to short though, just over an hour. Really wanted to here songs like Declaration, Life on the moon, Breathe Tonight, Avalanche, I Did It For You. We are going to see you again at the Ohio State Fair on Aug 8th. Will you play longer then? I'm a 48 year old and I took my son Matthew to see you at the Midland, 10th birthday today the 29th. It was his first concert! He loved it! We were in the balcony! I was amazed at the age levels at your concert! I haven't been this excited about music since Genesis, Styx, Journey and Boston. Your interview was so wonderful the way they keep zooming in on that beautiful face you have brought so much joy and laughter into my life this past year, when i feel down all i have to do is put on your music or come visit my computer to see that wonderful smile.
When you open your mouth to speak its like there is no other person in the world only you, You will always be the one artist i will follow till the day i die, from the moment you audition for american idol there was something about you that made me just want to see more and more, its like i cant get enough of seeing you, when i watch any tv show that your on i dont even see the band David cook is the only person i see because you are the greatest gift we could have as an artist and as a person, never change david you are a wonderful human being, when God created David Cook he did the world a great favour . i will buy any record you ever make because you are the greatest david.

David - I saw a youtube where you said there is room for Adam and Kris you just hope there is still room for you - no worries at all. As far as I am concerned - I like both those new guys - but you are the only American Idol I have ever followed and cared about. There is no one like you - the person you are - then add the music and your personality and your causes you fight for. You're the best. You will have a long career and I will follow it all the way.
