In all honesty, I wasn't sure about the song at first. Then I bought it from itunes, loaded it on my iPod, put my headphones on and REALLY listened. The way they almost stop then start the song back up is awesome, I loved that first. I started looking for more things I liked about the song, as I always do, before I give up on it. Before I knew it, I was dancing around the living room.

First and foremost was David's voice, as it should be. I actually LIKED it that it wasn't so full of bass, guitar, drums that you could hear him singing the words. In other words, pun unintended, the rest of the music was equally distributed, so David's voice shined through. (Yes, I know that's the way it should be on an album.)

Then I listened to the actual words. As always I could feel his pain and what he was going through as he sang. David's voice has always done that for us. He wears his heart on his sleeve - through his voice - as he sings and I love him for it. There are so few artists that can achieve that, at least for me.

When I finally listened to the words, I had tears in my eyes. Whoever he was in love with in the song, no matter what they did, it just didn't work no matter how much they loved each other. I've known couples like that and how hard it is for them to finally let go.

So all in all, I absolutely LOVE THIS SONG. It's so touching, so real and most important, David & the Anthemic are singing/playing it. Dynamite song from a phenomenal bunch of guys. Can't wait for you to rock it out in concert, because I know you will. You changed up several of the songs on the first album just enough to make it interesting. Please come back to KC more than once this time??

I never thought I'd say this, but I am disappointed in this song. What's with the techno vibe? I love his voice, but this song sounds like too many others on the radio ... too "popish" not "rock". I can't believe I feel this way ... bummed. Am I the only one who feels this way? Don't hate on me too bad.
