MLB All-Star Game - More Details!

David Cook will be performing tonight to kick off the MLB All-Star week and DavidCookOfficial.com is pleased to learn that David will be performing "Hereos" and "Declaration" at the Live broadcast. If you can't catch the performance on ESPN, be sure to check out additional coverage of the event on the MLB Network. No question the performance will be a sensational start to a great All-Star week!

i was so amazingly pissed off when my cousin called me was like
"OMG where have you been ive been calling and calling you DAVID COOK IS ON TV"
and unfortunatley before i could get home it was already gone
but i watched it on his tevo and later again on youtube

I had no idea david was going to be on if I knew I would have put. It on tivo we weren't paying enough attention to it, I was so bummed, both performace were Brillant Brillant !!!!! I ended up watching them on youtube, u & your band really did amazing amazing I loved it. Rock on !!!!

Yes, David added some secret songs so if you let it play, you may get a surprise. But you have to leave it alone. Depending where you purchased your album, depends upon which secret songs are included. Right now I can't remember which places (for example, you get a free extra song if you purchase at Walmart) had which tracks. Breathe Tonight, Kiss on the Neck (and there's another one I don't have that you only got if you downloaded from I-tunes) were the secret tunes. I actually purchased extra cd's and gave them away so I could get the extra songs. They were worth it, too. Kiss on the Neck and Breathe Tonight are two of his finest songs. Wonder when/if he'll release them as singles. We tend to forget about them because they are a little harder to get to. Too bad. Another gimmick. Anyway, love all of David's music.
You might want to let your cd play out even if it is dead silence to see if any of these hidden tracks play. If not, go out and try to purchase a cd a Walmart or one of the other places that was selling his cd including his bonus tracks.

"David Cook is a class act at All-Star game

The media circus was in full swing yesterday, and your ringmaster was lucky enough to snag a press pass to the All-Star bash. While most of the reporters were ga ga over the players, I was more interested in the celebs.
David Cook strolled around during batting practice, so I followed him as he chatted up the players and Sheryl Crow. He appeared to be doing what any true baseball fan would do — collecting autographs on a ball.
In addition to being a good singer, he’s a great guy. He was very generous with his time, chatting with anyone who approached and spending an eternity posing for pictures, always with the same enthusiastic smile. His face muscles must have been tired after a couple of hours but you couldn’t tell.
I watched fans toss him balls to sign, and he’d pitch them back, with a little banter thrown in. This went on for about 10 minutes.
It’s great to see a Missouri guy so genuine in his fondness for his fans."

I know they can really pressure people into using a pre-taped version; I'm so happy your performance of Declaration was live (as was evident by the slight lyric slip in the first verse). I've never understood having artists show up to "perform" and then using a pre-recorded track.

Great job, guys! David, I prayed for you several times while I was watching you perform Declaration (even though it might have been prerecorded, I'm sure that prayer worked). You guys rocked it out of the stadium! David, thank you for the Declaration video. It is the first time I was able to get you performing that song on tape, and you did it so well. Your band really got into the song, too. It was enjoyable to watch your band members, and they really did their jobs well. I liked it that you played a little extra music in between to give yourself a chance to take a quick breath, and it helped a bunch since I just KNOW you had to be a bit nervous singing to that huge crowd and all the people watching on tv/computer -- best performance yet! Yay! Home Run--David!
Was Heroes ever televised? "cause I didn't get to see it, and I watched the shows before and after...
Great game, too. Enjoyed Fielder's 503 foot home run, but I was routing for Cruz after his fantastic opening. Fielder was the best, though. Can't argue with that. But look out for Cruz in the future!
Fun All-Star game, too. Didn't know Nelly could play like that. He looked like one of the professionals out there. Loved Shawn's flips, too! How cute!
