Fabulous album- no song on there that I dont adore! I agree- acoustic album, I'd buy like six Well, probably not, but I would buy one for sure I love you! Good luck in 2009- this baby's platinum for sure.

David, I enjoy your album each day. There are several songs that I really love.

You need to do a song or album as "acoustic David". Your version of Happy Christmas was just outstanding. Loved it, loved it. And of course, loved all the ones you did on American Idol.

I liked your voice and way of singing the first time I saw you in Idols...'cause I'm from other side of world, then the Idols runs at the Tv now and you have not yet sing the Little sparrow. Good that the internet exists, so I have been able to track down everything there is to track down of your music. And I love it all of it. Good choices of songs in Idols and your own material, huhhh....

I must say that I was nervous to listen to the new album....I had read a couple of not so flattering critics!

This morning (first thing) I loaded it in my laptop....Wow! So far my faves are Declaration, Bar-ba-sol and Permanent.

Permanent will be a huge hit, i'm sure of it! It made me cry first time I heard it on So You Think You Can Dance Canada this past wednesday. And the choregraphy was to die for too.

The dancer's name is Nico Archambault and I'm proud to say he's from Quebec.

David- I just wanted you to know that I am so very happy that you have stayed true to what you said you would do for your CD. It is very awesome!! I knew you would do great things- you have a God given talent that few people have. I was one of those fanatical fans who stayed up voting until we couldn't vote anymore for you at the finale!! I developed carpal tunnel from all the redials! One of my friends called me the next morning after you were announced the winner and said she believed I did at least 6 million of the 12 million votes you won by! (probably true). I was bound and determined that you would win because you deserve it! This album rocks and I listen to it every day. My husband bought it for me the day it came out because he had to listen to me count the days down until it came out! He likes you, too, just doesn't get as excited as I do! Keep it up, Cookie, as I will be forever a fan. Stay true to yourself and what you believe in. Don't ever change. Your humbleness and gratitude you have shown for being where you are now is great to see in a world of stars who love themselves so much, they forget what real life is all about- Family, Love, Friends,God. I just wanted to say thank you for writing and beautifully singing the song "light on." When I heard it for the first time, I just cried. It is exactly what I do. My Husband proudly serves in the United States Army, I keep my lights on regardless day or night, until he finds his way home back into my arms.
