See David at the Hard Rock Café in Hollywood!

Come to the Hard Rock Café Hollywood at Universal CityWalk on Tuesday, August 11, for your chance to meet David Cook (who will be donating a piece of memorabilia to the Café) and receive a signed copy of his self-titled CD! The first 300 people who purchase the CD will get a signed copy by David himself. CDs go on sale at 3pm and the signing is from 6pm – 8pm at the Hard Rock Café Hollywood!

I was one of the lucky 300. I was #19 in line. I was so excited to meet him. He is sooo nice. When I got in front of him I froze. I have always thought about what I would say, but standing before one of the most gorgeous guys in the world I was speechless. LOL

Yay! I was one of the 300 people and I was actually 1st in line. It was totally worth it, David is so down to earth and understanding. I was able to give him a high five and gave a little gift for Dublin. I LOVED it.

The wait is killing me, I am going and I am SUPER excited to go I am going with my 3 best friends and they are all buying the cd. They all have but they will buy another one for David. I hope that we are part of the 300 people. I have my fingers crossed.

But, it's nice that the West Coast is getting some Hard Rock Cafe fun like us East Coasters had gotten in New York. Boy, that seems like ages ago, doesn't it?!

I'm not sure I understand. ... At first I was excited when I heard there was a SoCal event next week, because I am still on vacation then, so I could drive to LA (300 miles, round trip).

But as I read this, it means getting in line by 2pm (or earlier to be safe) to buy another copy of the CD at 3pm, then stand in another line until 6-8pm, in order to have 30 seconds in front of him at a table getting his autograph on the new CD.

IS THAT ALL THERE IS TO IT? Or is there more to it?

If that's all there is, I'm inclined to let a new fan, new to the CD, take what could be my place. New fans are probably what he wants. David doesn't know me, but he already has me in his corner, attending 3 future shows.

But if there will be a performance or a casual opportunity to mingle or chat, then I'll go. Is there more to it?

To say you are one busy man would be an understatement! I am still wishing that I could be in New York this week to see you perform in Central Park, and get to meet you at the Skecher's event! I assume this will be either in two weeks when David's in Lancaster, or hopefully in September when he's playing Hollywood & San Diego and has some time off.
