I was loving getting to see your personality appear and that to find that you are an experienced and matured man of age 25 yr. You are happy to live openly and solid in who you are. David Cook is scheduled to perform this Friday, 10/31/08, on Good Morning America's fall concert series....wonder why this is not listed in the EVENTS part of his website? I for one already have my DVR set!
I am really confused. I don't see how this song has anything to do with a guy pursuing a girl. What I gathered from it is loved ones being separated for long periods of time. I guess I can wait to see how it is actually portrayed in the video; it might not be exactly what David was saying. I guess it doesn't matter because it's okay if songs have different meanings for different people.

KUDL in Kansas City has been saying for days now that "Light On" is their most requested song, and they do play it a couple of times each day. They are also good about mentioning his SNL appearance, his video being made, etc. Keep calling or emailing your radio stations to request it! I think after David's SNL appearance it will be heard more and more.....and we can do our part by continuing to request it.
I think the best comment I saw on this site was a few days ago, and I can't remember who said it but it was something like "When David Cook sings the world stops to listen, and he sings with such emotion that it is like you can see into his soul." I can't stop thinking about that, and how accurately it describes exactly what I have been thinking and feeling. Thanks for helping put it into words!
