I was gonna say it's been a long time since we heard from you, but then I double checked the dates...and it's only been a week since you brought us into your recording studio! "Please, Sir, may I have some more?" We just can't get enough of you. Does it feel weird to be so loved by so many women and girls the world over? I think I'd be freaked! Thanks for a small look into your busy life putting your new album together. Heck, you could just video a day in your life and we'd be in heaven!! It's amazing how much of an impact you have on us fans!! I guess it makes us feel "connected" to you-- you are such an inspiration!! I haven't heard LO yet on the radio, but I'm still hearing TOML about every hour! I'm sure once the radio stations start playing it, it will, no doubt, stay on their playlists for many months!! I could watch that video of you over and over again. My favorite part is you sitting on the couch talking and laughing, I want to do that with you someday and I hope someday it will happen. You look so relaxed, at ease and happy. I would love to have a conversation with you for an hour or two and just sit and talk to you and find out all your hopes and dreams, maybe someday. The only reason Light On isn't high on the top 100 is because not many people know it'seven out. I haven't heard it once on the radio in upstate NY. The only ones that know about it are the loyal fans who found it on your website or word of mouth.
Everyone should be calling the radio stations to get it heard by everyone else. It's a great song and I think this is not being promoted very well. Maybe David should do another Leno appearance or other tv spots. Once people hear it, it will go back up the charts, most likely #1.

David, have you noticed how many times your performances on American Idol have been played. Some in the hundreds of thousands and even one over a million times and another one 4 million times. That says a lot about what American thinks of David Cook. I tried to send this before and it got lost in cyberspace, but I just wanted to encourage you to keep on being true to yourself and don't let them make you too Hollywood. We all fell in love with the boy next door with the great heart and all that "charisma" that Simon didn't get. And forget the negative people who wish they could be in your shoes. Still love Light On and listen to it everyday. I am sure that as soon as the radio stations start playing the song and you get the airtime you need, that Light On will be No. 1 again.
Not sure when they will be playing it on the radio here in South Africa as I am sure you know that we are a little behind you guys.
the single doesn't make it to radio stations until next week, and the songs that are in the iTunes Top 10 have had radio play for weeks now. all the die-hard fans have bought the single, but regular radio listeners who don't follow David's career like we do haven't even heard of the single yet.
i really wish people would stop acting like the sky is falling just because Light On isn't #1. it hasn't gotten the exposure his iTunes competitors have, and it won't until next week when it hits radio stations. then, more likely than not, it'll climb back up the charts.
are you really gonna give up on David and the single that fast?
Where are his fans and support to buy his single?? BUY and Request it on the radio everyone, it is important that you do or else it wont make it on the radio!
