Nice to see another Buckley lover! I got into him a few years ago and his music is truly fascinating. He was a talent that went way too soon. Most of the artists in your list I'm unfamiliar with but I'm excited to listen to them and hopefully have more favorite artists. You didn't include it here, but I nearly had a heart attack when on your MySpace playlist, you included The Mayfield Four! I got into Alter Bridge around late 2007 and therein became a HUGE fan of Myles Kennedy and found out about MF4 and their music is so amazing. I hope you've listened to his work in Alter Bridge. Myles and the rest of the boys (Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips) make a fantastic team.

Also, Angel is a beautiiful, amazing song.. it came on the radio on the car ride home after my grandpa passed away..

it's very cool that dashboard confessional was your number 2. did you know they have a song called jamie? that's one of my favorite songs, since my name is jamie. i'll love it even more now since i know that you listen to dashboard confessional too.
i also love that sarah mclachlan song. it's one of the most beautiful songs out there. not including yours, of course.

Raine Maida - If you ever want to sing on the street corner to raise money and awareness (for any cause) please let me know - I will be there! He is so cool. I see why you are so moved by his music and his persona. I want to hear more about him and from him. I can tell you that yes, life can take away your idealism. But you can have an epiphany; be moved by something so much that all the feelings of wanting to make the world better come rushing back. The good part is you are better equipped to act on those ideals. You don't have to do big things to do good. Just being aware of your surroundings and making a conscious choice to go beyond the ordinary every day. Imagine if everyone was a little kinder to all the living things they come in contact with every day - including themselves. I try to imagine it every day.
