Belated Condolences

Dear David:
Just saw you in Northampton, MA on Saturday. My daughter and I made a road trip up to see you, since your tour wasn't stopping in Rhode Island this time around. We had both hoped to have a moment to speak with you pre- or post show to say "Hello" and give our support. We stood outside for 3 hours prior to the show because the venue was "general admission". You did walk by us while coming in and out of the bus to the backstage door, but had to hurry by. It was nice that although security was pushing you along you did look back and smile directly at my daughter. I know it must be sooo overwhelming to have so much attention thrust upon you 24/7, but as a mom of a 13 year old who just wanted to say "Hi!" to you, it was disappointing. In total, we stood for 7 hours without sitting down to see you perform. We LOVED seeing you perform live!!!! You were great, but the evening would have been more enjoyable if there had been seats to sit in. This was our second time seeing you live, maybe next time we will be able to have the chance to talk with you. Wishing you and the band all the best for the remainder of the tour. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
