Thank you, Dave, for taking the time out of your crazy schedule to fill us in on Joey's departure from the band. You probably heard that it got a bit crazy around here today with all the conjectures and hand-wringing over what was going on. I really appreciate how you communicate with the fandom community.

It must be incredibly difficult to bring in someone new and conduct a search for a permanent replacement, all in the middle of a rigorous tour schedule. Here is to envisioning a great new bass player who easily fits the bands vibe who is just waiting to join you guys. May it be so! Meanwhile, by all accounts, Monty seemed to be amazing at filling in so quickly and seamlessly.
