Firstly, thank you for writing this recap. Reading it made me feel like I was there with you, which was fun because, well, I've always wanted to go to a show with you! lol
Secondly... about Andy. I actually think I know exactly what you mean. (Surprised?) Naturally I wasn't there and so I don't know what it was like seeing Andy like that. But I do remember one time, I saw videos of one particular show (and interestingly enough, like this show, it was one that came after an extended break) and thought: Joey does NOT look happy. I remember in particular I was watching the videos closely (I was looking for pick throwing, if you must know ) and thinking, "I have never seen Joey like this." I eventually gave up because I realized that an unbouncy Joey likely meant there would be no pick-throwing.
One thing I'd like to comfort you with is this: I'm sure Andy (I nearly wrote "Joey," oops) was probably very happy to be back on tour. But you never know what could have happened during the day. He might have had an argument with someone, he might have had just a bunch of little, annoying things happen that ticked him off, he might have had a phone call that upset him... you just never know. I'm sure it isn't permanent, and I'm sure what you witnessed isn't a sign that he's tired of it all.
Anyway, don't know if that helps, but I do understand, and of course I don't think you're out of your freaking mind - because that would be rather like the pot calling the kettle black, would it not?
I sincerely hope that your next recap will be of an MWK show, and I also sincerely hope I will see you there!
