You want to know why i'm a fan? Well let me tell you..let me give you a hint of what lies in my heart about being a fan of such a fantastic man.

I'm a fan because what David does, touches me.

I'm a fan because David's voice shows me a beautiful aspect of life i've never seen but it's turned me into a better person.

I'm a fan because David is sincere, kind, and caring. He does not hide up his feelings because he knows he lives in them every day.

I'm a fan because there's something in David eyes that sparkle and adds even more meaning and power to his voice and the story he's telling behind it.

I'm a fan because never in my life until now have I known how much a dream can create so much love..

I'm a fan because David connects with us on all kinds of levels that help us see the whole picture of how much everything means to him, and it also helps us see how much we want him to know that he is loved and is bringing a lost life to be found...and a forgotten heart to be held and remembered again.

I'm a fan because David gives me faith in what I do every single day. He helps me not be ashamed of the desicions I choose as long as they make me personally happy.

I'm a fan of David because originally he was in everything for the love of singing but now he has another reason- for the love of giving us, his friends, and his family music to enjoy. The cool thing is though- we are a bonus. He doesn't need to touch us and we don't need to have him touch us but when you love somebody, your hearts connect and that only expands the love and makes the dream all the more special. It's what happens when David opens not only his mouth to sing, but his heart to sing...it is what happens when David looks out into the crowd, full of graciousness and knows it not only was all because of him or even all because of us..it was just fate. It was what his passion was meant to turn into.

I'm a fan of David because he may be only human and make mistakes like all of us do but he still makes it through and manages to smile and learn from what burdened him.

I'm a fan of David because I knew right when I saw him that he was going to bring joy to many lives whether it was through his voice, his personality, or his gift of being able to express himself so wonderfully.

I'm a fan of David because he has this certain view on life that causes him to speak so intelligently and helps me to see what really is important and that's not letting your life pass you by and running away from the place you hold in the world, it's waking up everday and hugging somebody and telling them you appreciate them and not only see them smile, but feel yourself smiling as well. Love is what has meaning-not living in our pain.

I'm a fan of David because now I see life as a gift and everywhere I go, everything I see I look at it as if tomorrow wasn't going to happen and the same old surroundings I see daily would no longer remain. That's why I take what i'm given, even the things that aren't exactly mine, and I breathe life in. I enjoy the little things that in the end really do matter.

I'm a fan of David because he taught me that it's okay to cry not only just alone in my room but in front of people because my tears are emotions that cannot be held in because either the love is too strong, the words are way too nice, life is way too amazing or it can be the other way around. Either way it puts me in a moment of feeling something powerful and raw.

I'm a fan of David because when I look at him and watch videos of him I know he truly means what he says and isn't just saying it to please people. His love comes from the heart and not any other place other wise it really wouldn't be love would it? We get touched by him because he shows us way more about him than he needs to but it helps us put his words to the actions he expresses too beautiful and impacting for words. It lives us breathless and speechless, completely lost in tears.

I'm a fan of David because he helped me to have faith in what I believed was right no matter how wrong it seemed to others- he inspired me to get up and speak out what I was feeling. Now I have a girlfriend and i'm actually happy. I'm not living in lies thanks to many people such as David helping me to only care about what benefits something great to the world, people, and myself.

I'm a fan of David because David just IS. He's just him. And I am just me. And his dream combines all of the fans together to embrace all these feelings that create memories to look back on, full of love and the everlasting impact from a man named David Cook.

I'm a fan of David because he taught me no matter where,who, or how you love you are loving and it's not worth to just get touched by for one minute- it's meant to get lost in...to cherish and be held close to the heart through the deepest of pain and the hardest of struggles because somewhere out there what you do, does matter.

But to be honest all of this is the same..it leads up to the same reason and you want to know what that is?

I LOVE HIM FOR IT.

I can go on and on and on but i'll end here because sometimes when you explain yourself too much, you loose the real reason on why you're even doing it. I probably should have written more simply and gotten straight to the point:

I'm a fan of David because I am and that's what brings joy to my heart and a smile to my face. It isn't my whole life and it isn't all that I am but it is something that means something to me and opens up my eyes to the world and people of today. And here is my conclusion:

Rarely, i've come to realize, do you find many people like David Roland Cook.

I'm a fan of David because he helped me to see being a fan goes both ways- we make each other 'feel.' Why else would he stand up on that stage and cry? And why else would we look up into his eyes and feel our hearts flutter with amazement?
