The Tony Gonzalez Foundation & Shadow Buddies

Hey guys!

On a recent call in to Kelly Urich, Beth (aka David's Mom) said that she was teaming up with the Tony Gonzalez Foundation & Shadow Buddies to help collect toys for children for Christmas! Scroll down for info on what Shadow Buddies is all about!

Your help is needed!

If you are in the Kansas City area:
1) Bring an unwrapped toy to Fuel in Overland Park between 3-7 on December 12th. If you can't make it out there but want to help out please message me.
2) Drop off an unwrapped toy at The Shadow Buddy Foundation

I really like the video,David and the band look awesome, but call it lack of sleep, am i missing the whole light on and coming home part of the video?

True they can do that. I was thinking more along the lines of if it has a embed code, like all the other videos, it's going to spread like wild fire. lol even if it doesn't have a code i'm sure top of the line techines can figure it out pretty quickly. lol

Eastern would make the most sense because once it's up it's up for everyone. I would think they would go with the first time zone to hit midnight.

Why I'm a Fan

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...hello...he's friggin' David Cook!!!!

I could say I am a fan of David Cook because he is a hometown boy.....but it's not just that...In all honesty this is the first season that I ever watched American Idol. I don't know what made me watch this year but I'm glad I did. David has an amazing voice.....as crazy as it may sound his voice actually puts me in a place where I am totally calm. We can't forget about his great big heart. Seeing him with Lindsay Rose was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. So sweet!

I believe David is a really genuine guy. He knows that they fans can make or break his career....he chooses to put himself out there for his fans and makes himself as accessible as possible.....Like this page.

I do have to extend thanks to David..... As I said before, I never really never watched American Idol before this year....there was a reason I watched it. All of the idols were amazing, but I stuck with David. That led me to the idol forum...where I met some really cool people.....Including my best bud, and partner in crime, Mallory!!!

Why is she my partner in crime???....well you see we had a lil' problem with getting banned from the americanidol.com community.....We were innocent I tell you....ya right! On about our 2nd or 3rd trip to banned camp we decided to start a page for all the banned word nerds to go to until we were re-instated by Steve..Mallory still knows his email addy if that tells you anything! What started out as a page for a few peeps turned into us growing to a site of more then 800 people! Check it out some time...we have a blast there! www.myspace.com/bannedwordnerds

Mal and I have become really good friends and without David being on idol we never would have met...so David, I thank you..even thought you don't know it you are responsible for a whole lotta people forming lifelong friendship.
