So in doing this I realize I never did a Newburgh recap... um... there was some singing, some dancing, a bit of hoopla over the relationship between love and dog collars. It was great. But not as great as Northampton.

Started the night with a little gathering of DC42 and DCO folks at a brew pub. Everyone is lovely, as expected. Normanthecat even brought her hubby, who decided quickly to go bowling rather than attend the show with us. Go figure.

Four years ago, my sister-in-law lost her long battle with cancer. She was a loving, intelligent, beautiful person who we all still miss every day. Memories of her often fill me with joy, and days like today when I am reminded of her death, renew my hope that there will one day be a cure.

Well that was more work than I thought it would be, but I'm glad everyone enjoys it! It's true, Jacob and Joe R were pretty harsh sometimes, but they are clearly Cookified at the end.
I also left in Joe R's little aside from his sister about the Jonas Brothers, because it is hilarious.

As a former member of the extremely active "You Had Me at Hello" thread over at televisionwithoutpity, I feel it necessary to keep some handy record of the comments made by Joe R and Jacob (or bastard-ass Bayliss, as it were) in the recaps. I honestly think some of these are some of my favorite things ever writen about David, even the less than complimentary things, just because they are so honest and raw and really reflected my same opinions at the time. So here goes. This is going to be a long one!

I think that some people think that going to most all of the shows and attempting to find the band at bars is OTT fan behaviour, thus some people who do that might get incorrectly blamed for bad behaviour. I am not casting judgement either way, but I think that is why the fingers are pointing in that direction. It's unfortunate for everyone either way.
