I don’t know why my brain works that way, but there are a lot of singers I can’t listen to because I can’t connect.

But the connection with David’s voice was instantly.

Than I have done some internet research and the more I have learned about him the more he has hold me captive.

I love what he has done on AI. It is not only that I enjoy his performances. It is more that he has brought in creativity in a system, which seems so self-absorpted.
As a AI contestant he has gone from just being a singer to be a musician and an artist.

On a personal level David has done a lot more. He has brought back my love for music.
It is just the way he speaks about music, you just have to try to follow his lead and go to look for the music that is out there.

I have been caught on the mtv generation style to consume music.

I only really recognize the songs that charted and even if I bought an album, I mostly only gone for the songs I already know.

Now I listen to the whole album and check out new music regularly. I even started to check out myspace for local musicians and bought more CD’s in the last 6 month than the last years.
