Mr. Sensitive: David’s Firebird is hanging off his shoulders and the opening notes bring me back to reality after Heros. We get good guitar sex early on in Mr. Sensitive. Wow. Love the way he caresses that guitar’s neck, reminiscent of similar encounters with mike stands and the guitar in the past. Half a heart hand too, which just added to the fun, and then more heart thumps near the end of the song. I love the quietness of the verses and then the absolute power of the chorus and bridge. I manage to look over at the guitar god stage left/our right.

Montreal! My favourite city in the country, next to my home and native rock of St. John’s, Newfoundland. I fly in mid-afternoon, cab to my friend’s, change my clothes and head off towards the Metropolis.

Wonderful, thought provoking review. I share Bono's political leanings (for the most part, anyway) and I love that he and his bandmates have such a collective social conscience, but it's probably hard to take several hours of it.

So I'm supposed to b asleep hours ago. Made the mistake of reading this and nearly had apoplexy smotheri g my laughter so hubby wouldn't wake up. Belongs on our best of thread. Hope someoneputs it there before morning or I will from computer. Can't do from iPhone. Brilliance like this deserves cupcakes. With spreckels.

Happy Fanniversary!!! (™KDC) We've come a long way, guys. Smishy hugs, bacon-cheesecake and margaritas for everyone, lurkers, newbies and original flavour refugees alike. Long-ass post coming so you might want to refill the coffee cup. Or the margarita. The sun's over the yardarm somewhere.
