I just head the news, David and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family -- Adam's wife Kendra, their children, you, your younger brother and mother and father - and all family friends and loved ones who have been rooting for Adam all this time. I understand. Cancer took my mother, sister, grandparents and too many loved ones.
Know that he is always with you. He is now celebrating in heaven - free from pain and filled with joy. That is the best way to remember and honor Adam, as you all experience the grief and deal with this tremendous loss.

Well, the tour doesn't include my area either - but on the positive side - David Cook always pops up on my TIVO wishlist - so that will work fine for now. Not only that - let's face it - there will be PLENTY of fans uploading their video clips from the concert tour. So everyone will be able to view bits and pieces of the tour on YouTube.

As I have commented previously, upon purchasing David Cook's new CD, I had read that Permanent was an ode to his brother, AC, and that I didn't anticipate weeping immediately upon hearing the brief preview of this song. As mentioned, anyone who has had a loved one ill with cancer can relate to the beautiful words and music. But I can't STOP listening to this song. It is one of the best songs I have listened to in my lifetime. It has a haunting melody – and beautiful – yet gut-wrenching lyrics that make me want to listen to it over and over and over again.

This should come so no surprise - the CD is fantastic. It is the best and most professional CD I have ever witnessed from a debut album - certainly from an Idol. David Cook is a true pro - through and through. I am still amazed at what a great job he did with the artwork direction on the cover and inside. We knew the music would be fantastic. Bit the art? WOW!

Oh yes - while I am sending shout outs ... major ones also should go to the photography by Frank Ockenfels -- and to the styling by Art Conn, Hair by Neil Wilson and Make-up by Roxanne Saffaie! Great job!!
