It was lovely meeting you too Karen...and you're NOT an axe murderer...who knew? Rama was Epic and you certainly scored big time. I'm so happy that this was such a wonderful experience for you. I'm choked up by your writing and description of what it all meant to you. I read it to my husband, who doesn't exactly roll his eyes, but can be somewhat cynical. His response..."WOW that's great!"

I'm guessing the guys give David a pretty hard time about his fandom. These are just guys trying to be just guys and David has often said he just doesn't get it all the adoration. How many 20-something year old young men can handle middle aged women...grandmothers going gaga? Forget cougars, lots of David's fanbase are too old to be cougars!
We've got some hilarious threads here..we can make fun of ourselves, so I think we handle it. Look at

I agree Heliotrope, Permanent is my fav, but I voted for Bar-ba-sol, cause I think that would be an awesome single and do well for David's career. Permanent may be too personal for a new fan base to 'get it'.

Was pretty sure you weren't coming to Canada (sob) so booked through Ticketmaster for Seneca Niagara before I even saw the official tour dates.
So excited. The long drive, border crossing, hotel stay...all worth it!

Big theatre, big audience, dead silence. Now that's how you command attention and control an audience! Great job. Very sad that the duet got cut. Wish I could be a TV producer.
