From the moment I saw this argyl sportin' Bon Jovi singin' bartender at auditions I was hooked. As a casual AI watcher I wasnt planning on becoming completely enthralled with a contestent...but then again Mr. Cook was no ordinary contestant. Week after week I was blown away not only by this incredible voice and performance, but by this amazing human being with the gorgeous smile and awesome sense of humor.
Its hard to believe that someone like David is real! This kind, compassionate, caring person with such a gift of incredible talent! I kick myself every time I listen to Analog Heart and think to myself WHY DIDNT I KNOW ABOUT HIM BEFORE AI!

I have never been so mesmorized by someone's voice and the way the perform until David came along and has now become a household, scratch that, world wide name! Every single week he just amazed me, just when I thought 'oh man it's going to be hard to top the previous week', he went ahead and topped it - actually he did more than top it, he blew it out of the water! And don't even get me started on Analog Heart, I haven't listened to the radio in months because this BRILLIANT cd is on constant rotation in my car. I love every single song, it is just a testement to his brilliant song writing. His voice is like nothing I have ever heard before, when hes singing/performing its like I have known him for years. He was the most amazing thing to step on the American Idol stage...period.

Whenever reality is just to much to take I take a nice little trip with David's music and it always seems to calm me down. His 'Always Be My Baby' is probably the most amazing version I have ever heard, its beautiful and haunting. I just can't stop listening.

He is such an inspiration to me! It is truely amazing to see someone going for their dream and making it their own, he's not afraid to be different and take that leap into the unknown. He carries himself so well, and I am just in awe of the way he show his soul to the world, it isnt often that you come across genuine people, it took David to show me they still exist. He has this aura of self confidence, humility and genuine love for what he is doing and the people that show him support. I respect the MAN David Cook as much if not more then I respect the MUSIC.

I feel like I have been on a journey with David, from audition to pin and needles eliminations, to the finale when we all were in tears, to the Idol Tour (which had me in tears to be in his presence!) to this new album. David is the type of performer that stays with you, and I can honestly say whether he comes and sells out arenas or goes back to playing in smokey bars I will be there cheering him on with pride in my heart and singing his songs at the top of my lungs!

Mr. Cook you are my idol, my hero and my inspiration!
