I know this isn't a lyric, but a song which is about losing a loved one and trying to take their place. This song means so much to me as it does David. I have lost my husband very un-expectantly and there is still a deep void in my life. He not only was my soul-mate, the father to my two, now grow kids, but also my best friend. It seems that as time goes further down the road I seem to forget his smile, his laughter and his smell. I miss his hugs at night or anytime for that matter and especially miss his company. I am soon to be an empty nester as my daughter is preparing to move out to be with her boyfriend and someday husband. I will really be lost then!!! David's music it a bright spot in my life right now and I will always be grateful to him for letting all of us share in his life's journey. My wish is to someday meet him and at least get a picture with him and to truely say thank you for his gift of music to us! Thank you so much, David!
