Why I'm a Fan

Seriously.

I was watching this show (American Idol) like I do every year. I usually stop watching once it gets serious though. Hate me if you must, but I really only ever enjoyed the trainwrecks that thought they were the next Celine Dion. Other than that I could do without the show.

But wait. Who's this? This crazy red-haired, faux-hawked, argyle-sweater wearing dude who can rock the BonJovi??

David? David who? I knew I'd have to keep my eye on him.

A couple of weeks pass by, this David dude is doing alright, nothing overly impressive yet.

Then excuse me? All Right Now?! Holy crap! That was some sexy rockin' the song going on there! The way he looked into the camera...no scrap that. The way he gazed right through that camera lens, right into my eyes..*THUD* It was all over from there. DAVID COOK has ARRIVED!!

David continued to impress, excite, thrill and captivate me each and every week, and I haven't looked back once.

It's on baby. I am a fan for life.
