Did the chicken demand a union salary or something??? Were there too many negative comments?? Why did the chicken cross the road?? Am I missing something?? I LOVED the chicken interview.

I never try to win radio station contests, but this IS DAVID COOK!!! So on behalf of myself and my fellow sista-friends of the Seattle Cook Club I wrote the following poem to our local radio station who is putting on a STAR stage event for 40 - 50 fans.
ODE TO STAR STAGE CONTEST
Oh, KPLZ, why are you so mean?
You say "David Cook"... and I dial like a fiend,
Just to hear you say, "your chance to win....next hour!"
How does it feel to have all that power?Kent and Alan in the morning at 5:30 am
Say "sometime after 9". So I wait until then. -

Laura~
Marilyn here from the SCC. I had no idea about your stroke! That is tough! I know all about them, I took care of my mom following hers. I am going to the Oregon State Fair. I didn't get a $60 seat, but a $40 one. Can I help you out?--

Dear David and family~
God is with you through this very difficult time. In thinking about your song Permanent, you know that Adam always knew you all were with him in spirit when you couldn't all be with him physically, and you can be assured that God is with you always, too. May He bring you much comfort at this time and always. Take comfort in knowing you will see Adam again. You all remain in my prayers.
And David, I am sure he smiles down at you now, proud of what you're doing for his memory and for others who suffer with brain cancer. God bless you always.Love, Marilyn

My BAD
Okay, I found the chicken. Guess it crossed the road and I lost it for awhile. But it was right down there all the time.......could have taken me decades or even years to find it.
