I'm a fan (and you should be too) because David is the best thing that happened to the rock music for a long time.

I´m still amazed about this whole thing. I live far far away in Finland. There has been previous American Idol seasons showing in our tv network, I think starting from the season 4. Never watched them. I do however have this addiction for reality tv series and they showed some lightlights from AI season 6 just before season 7 was on. Something got me to decide, that I´m gonna watch the whole season. Don´t know what it was, and friends and colleagues who know about my addiction told me to think it over, but I just thought I HAD to watch at least ONE season of this. You know I NEVER regretted this decision.

Watching was one thing, never ever would I believed if someone told me, that after watching the show, my life, as I knew it, was over for good. Neither would I believed that watching this would turn me into fangirl at my mature age (30+)

David caught my attension in the auditions by singing Living on a Prayer. I´ve loved Bon Jovi and I thought, Wow, there is one cool version of the song and that man has some voice!! Then I noticed him at the Hollywood week and during Top 24 and Top 20. Then came Top 16 and Hello. I was goner. He just had me in every possible way with that song and the way he sang it. Couldn´t belive someone would be able to do IT through television!! The rest is pretty much history.

I just love Davids awesome voice and especially his own music. Analog Heart is made of win!Axium songs are absolutely great too. The new album is going to blow my mind, I just know it. David is lovable because of his big heart and wonderful, grounded personality also and that´s why I think he´s the real Idol. Someone everyone can look up to.
