I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Being a fan of someone (aka David Cook) doesnt mean that you own every single song, or every single album. It doesnt mean that you know every little detail about them, or that you can answer any trivia question that comes up, or because you dress like them, or stole their catch phrase. You are a fan because you can look up to someone and relate with them in some way, emotionally.
I am a fan because I look at david, all rockstar cool with his awesome electric guitar and his dark denim jeans, and i notice his voice that he handles with care and uses with passion. When he sings, he tells all the people that doubted him, "I do have a voice, and this is what it sounds like" - its his way of telling people that he has more potential in him than some may have expected.
He wears his symbol at all times to remind himself of the fans that look up to him, those with smaller advantages but just as much potential. And he supports them.
He carves his good luck charm into his melody, to remind him of the people who love him and support him more than anyone else in the world could, and who made him into who he is today.
His poems are written from the heart, and are true. They arent just stories to the world. Breathing in the lyrics, they are filled with love, and pain, and heartbreak, and hope. And we can relate.
He won on a whim, something unplanned, and in the end he didnt flaunt or brag, and nobody was a loser.
He showed us that, no matter how much you have achieved, you can have everything youve ever dreamed of and more, but you are still human. You still have to act like one.
I think david has alot of love. From what ive seen of him, he is caring and silly and likes cupcakes and has an awesome sence of humour and he can catch 32 grapes in his mouth...
I think that david is a great role model out there, and he is bound to somehow change the world with his music. I admire him.
