What I loved about David's performance on Idol, as well as the CBTM video, is the way his obvious masculinity jumps off the screen! I just love it that a guy's guy, a rock artist - complete with face scruff, boots and, yes, a theater geek's scarf - can act, sing, play piano..... have a sensitive side.
