I'm a fan (and you should be too) because David Cook is such an amazing person. He's "the goof who got lucky".

Even thoiugh he's very talented and is aware of it, David doesn't let fame go to his head. Basiclly David has the right to be a jerk becasue of all his talent and sucess, but instead he takes the time to pose for pictures and sign autographs a million times over.
And on Idol Gives Back, he wrote "Give Back" and showed it to the camera when he was singing. That was so sweet!

On American Idol every song David Cook sang was unbelieveable; the way he made all of them totally different it just blew me away. He took Mariah Carrey's "Always Be My Baby" turned it into a rock-ballad type thing, at that moment I was sold. Every episode after that I was hooked on watching to see if he would do something amazing. He never dissapointed us.

When Archuleta and Cook were standing on the stage before Ryan read the results, he seemed so okay with whatever was to come next. And even after he won, he hugged Archie and pointed him out. Talking about good sportsmanship!

I love how David isn't afraid to take risks, playing his giutar on Idol, asking out Kimberly Caldwell on live TV, ditching the guitar for some songs, even trying out for American Idol in the first place.

It was really fun for me when People ran that article on Cook about being "Sexy and Sensitive". And when he was named one of the "Hottest Bachelors". He deserved both of those.

David Cook's album is awesome. I love every song, but I espicallt love how he can put so many different things on there. No two songs are similar. Permant is my favorite if I had to choose one. It's so real and emotional.

David Cook was my insperation to keep playing the guitar. I thought I was going to give it up, but after watching him on Idol last season, i decided I couldn't do it. Because watching someone with that much passion and talent can make something amazing, and I knew that i loved it too. If i gave up it wiuld kill any chances of being great at what i love. So i decided to take it up again and pratice harder than i ever have to maybe someday get even remotely close to as talented and as passionate as he is.
