Thank you... love your drawings (and musings). I'm a *little* younger than you, but not much. I decided a long time ago - luckily before any regret set in - to damn the torpedoes and go for it! I've seen Dave (and TA) 20+ times live and wouldn't trade any of those experiences for anything. I honestly don't give a flying crap what anyone thinks about me and my age, as long as Dave always seems to appreciate me and ALL his fans.

eilonwy, you've written some pretty great stuff before, but you have outdone yourself with this one! I have to go back and re-read it to take it all in - kinda like seeing a movie for the second time to concentrate on details you miss the first time through. Kudos!
