This must seem surreal to you, David -- to be on stage playing with a band you used to idolize from afar as just another fan in the crowd. Keep livin' the dream --- couldn't happen to a better guy!

Thanks for that Gueseppe.... Loved all the detail. Very funny as well as informative. Yep, GA is the only way to go if you want to really be part of the show! I thoroughly loved every one I've done, including the line-waiting and meeting/talking with fellow DC fans. As coolshades says, it's totally worth the pain LOL!

....or maybe of the month! Your recap had me cracking up here all by myself. I read it to my sis and she laughed, but I think it lost something in the translation when I had to keep explaining references to basements, slaughtered eagles, etc. We need to find a way to make sure you get to more concerts. Maybe we can start a 'Gueseppe Review Fund'. We could write off donations at tax time --- after all, it'd be for a good cause.

I am such a fan of your posts, Gueseppe, and this one is no exception! I'm just sad that I didn't get a chance to meet you at the Spreckles (yeah it does sound like colored sugar crystals, huh?).
I'd like to comment on this, from your recap:
Even better, who woulda thunk that the under-rated, overlooked simple, little tune would earn its place as an epically spectacular final encore? It’s crazy what’s happened to that song. From a lonely place in a forgotten tier to a show stopping, concert ending blowout.

Your last Fan Report has a bit of a "final" vibe. Say it ain't so, kdc. Whenever the spirit moves you, and you have the time, please feel free to gift us again. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everything you've written and don't want to stop now.

Well Coolie, at least you got to see the entire show! My drive to Phoenix from L.A. turned out to be one big nightmare... traffic, unexpected construction slowdowns, getting lost, forgetting about the one hour time difference, etc.
