I couldn't believe what I saw on the Internet. I am shocked and saddened by Adam's death. My own father passed away last summer (by his own choice) but I'm sure this just tore you apart. Again, My sincere thoughts go out to you and your family. I am very sorry.

Hey David!!! I hope you can read this because I know how busy you are and how many messages you get. You might just possibly remember me, but most likely you don't. Well, I'll remind you anyway.
On August 29, 2008, you came to Kansas City for the American Idols Live concert tour. During the Friday Meet & Greet, I came up to you and told you that I was your biggest fan ever and that my name was Kara. When my mom and I had to go, you said "Well it was nice to meet you, darlin!" I walked out of the room crying. Ring a bell? Here's another piece of information.
BEST. SHOW. EVER.
My mom and I were lucky to get 2 10th row tickets for this concert. I have always been a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE fan of David, and met him once before, so of course, I couldn't resist. So there me and my best friend were, standing behind some other people in front of the stage, signs and all, way into the action. He waved to us twice and smiled that beautiful smile. But the real highlight of the night at the Ameristar, was when he began throwing out guitar picks. I wanted to catch one, so I was yelling, "David, David!" with my hands up.
