On a day in January, sitting with my children watching American Idol, something happened. David Cook opened his mouth and belted out, “Tommy used to work on the docks.” My jaw literally hit the floor. By the time he got to, “Baby its okay.” I had goose bumps. I was hooked. I knew that he was the one that I was going to vote for. As the season went on all he did was impress me more. From the fantabulous version of Hello to the flawless Music of the Night, his vocal and musical abilities are just amazing. To add to all this, HE IS A GREAT GUY! His personality is just the icing on the cake.

So, to you Mr. Cook, please don’t lose yourself in all this chaos. Keep true to yourself and what you do best. We all love you for exactly who you are.
