I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... I was in the right place at the right time to be touched by the voice, musicianship, artistry, humor, kindess, generosity, graciousness, charisma, charm, wit, wisdom, and humanity of this man. His nature and spirit exposed his heart to us early, and we grew to know him quickly through his inspired performances, brilliant songwriting, unaffected self-confidence, and masterful composure in the media, Having been part of the process was important for me too, and whether reality or illusion, the feeling that I matter to him is strong. What a gift to be able to make people feel connected that way from across the country on a stage, or out there in the ethernet somewhere... and I believe that his heart is big enough to embrace a world of fans in the same way. Oh, just watch and listen... it's only the beginning.
