As someone who is finally striving to pursue her original goals, I often turn to your performances to find focus and direction. It is far too easy to manipulate songs, words, actions to be what you know your audience wants--- not necessarily what you want as an artist. Every time I see you perform, I understand that any impact I may or may not make is up to how I deliver. And how I deliver will be determined by what I deliver- is it genuine or affected. You deliver a part of yourself every time that you perform and for that reason you have gained so much well-deserved praise. It takes an immense
amount of courage and confidence to unfurl your world and talent onto center stage as often as you do- you do it with humility, humor, grace, and charisma.
