I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... David inspires me. I have never seen an artist that bares his soul in every single song he sings, the way David does. He has completely renewed my faith in music. You see, I have always been around music. My father was a music minister, I sang in youth choir, church choir, school choir, and solo in church. I have played the piano since I was 12 and played the flute since I was about that age. But, for the last few years, I just didn't care about music anymore, it didn't speak to me like it use too. That all changed with David. He awoke something in me that I had forgotten about, my love and sheer passion for music.

David's humbleness and kindness makes him stand out. I swear that man is not from this earth. He has a beautiful soul and the ability to make you feel every emotion that he feels with his songs.

In the process of my "Cookie obsession" I joined david-cook.org and a couple of other boards and/or communities. And because of David, I have meet some of the coolest people ever. Some have been concert buddies, some have become some of my very best friends, one has even deemed the right to be called my sister(because God knows we share the same brain).

David, I just want to thank you for that. You have no idea what you mean to all of us. You have touched all of us in so many ways. I can never thank you enough for bringing these ladies and Tom(*giggles* "Teh Squishy") into my life.

David, you are truly an amazing talent. I cannot wait to see where this wild ride takes you. I have no doubt in my mind that you will go far.
