I am a fan of David Cook because he is the whole package. First he blew me away with his music. I love how he can make you feel like he is singing only to you.I love listening to his original music and knowing how much of himself he put into it. Wow, the emotion and truth to his voice is incredible. Then I started finding out about David Cook, the man. He is smart ,caring, compassionate, confident, and loving all with a little bada** attitude thrown in for good measure. I love how he moved to Tulsa to try and further his music instead of giving up, I love how he didn't sell out to Simon and his "constructive criticism". I love how he views the whole Idol experience as a stepping stone but knows that it is not "all consuming". He really has a great sense of who he is and wants to live up to his standards more that worrying about what everyone else thinks. I love how he is not afraid to show true emotion. I don't know that I have seen any other man cry as much as he has. I love how much he cares for his fans, his family, and his friends. How he truly tries to make a point to meet everyone, really listening to what they have to say. David Cook truly is the whole package, a true sense of self and an amazing talent that will take him soaring. I am grateful to be here to experience the flight!!
